Origin, geographical distribution, economic importance, soil and climatic requirements, varieties, cultural practices and yield of Rabi Crops
Crops
Cereals –wheat, barley, Rabi Sorghum and maize
Pulses-chickpea, lentil, peas, French bean
Oilseeds-rapeseed, mustard and sunflower; Safflower, linseed
Sugar crops– sugarcane; Sugar beet, medicinal
Aromatic crops– mentha, lemon grass and citronella
Forage crops-berseem, Lucerne, oat., maize and sorghum
Other crops –Tobacco and sweet potato
